Sol Azteca, (which means Aztec Sun), has been open since 1974, and is still under original ownership. A native of Mexico, Rafael Osornio, had a vision to bring traditional recipes from different regions of his country, including Puebla, Veracruz, and Mexico City. Sol Azteca can still be found in its original location in Audubon Circle at 914 Beacon Street on the Green C Line, just a short walk from Kenmore Square and Fenway Park.

Coconut milk, mango, jalapeno, and chipotle pepper, are some of the exotic ingredients we use in our home-made sauces.
